The PaddlePunch Positionable Hand Punch and Accessories (Figure A) makes it possible to punch shapes and holes anywhere on many types of materials. Be sure to align the area of material and the Punch above the Craft Mat. Punching on any other surface could cause damage to the surface and the PaddlePunch. (ouch!) |
| 2. |
Make sure that the Craft Mat is resting on a sturdy, flat surface. Position the Punch by looking through its plastic head. The T-shaped handle provides a lovely, comfortable grip as well as ensuring that the sharp, sharp edge of the PaddlePunch blade always faces down, away from you, keeping you out of harms way. |
| 3. |
Holding the Punch firmly by its handle, strike the punch shape directly with the Sizzix Ultimate Craft Hammer (Figure B). Using any hammer other than the Sizzix Ultimate Craft Hammer with its protective heads will damage the Punch.
Note:
For best results, strike the PaddlePunch with several moderate blows, making sure to hit all of the edges of the Punch shape. This will ensure an even cut. One
heavy blow is much more difficult to control.

| 4. |
When finished punching, always return the PaddlePunch to the protective
case, - the case protects the cutting edge of the PaddlePunch and YOUR fingers from being cut on the sharp edges! (Figure C). |
CAUTION:
BLADES ARE VERY SHARP - Always cover when not in use!
